Memorial: A Commemoration of Life & Death Through Film
From a very young age, our artist Airospace has loved photography and film.
If only it were that simple.
Over the course of the last two years, this avant garde photographer, musician and fashion designer has been capturing the essence of nostalgia and home through the lens of a Polaroid. They learned that in the beauty of the world, you can capture incredible moments in the 3.5 by 2.9 frame - "real life" segments in a time where authenticity is very limited. After acquiring some 2000 photos, they decided that it was time to give back and display these beautiful moments in which we so cherish.
"You can alter anything digital, but Polaroids are tangible - they exist in and of the moment. You can't lie in a Polaroid."
